Dangerous Drugs Ordinance Amendment Bill (Prohibition of Advertising and Distributing Promotional Material for the Sale of Dangerous Drugs), 5785-2025

The explanatory notes for the legislation state that in recent years there has been a phenomenon of distributing promotional materials that promote the sale of dangerous drugs, which are distributed in public places and through digital means, harming teenagers and children. The proposed law is intended to address this phenomenon, as existing legislation focuses primarily on drug dealers and users and does not impose responsibility on other parties involved in the production, distribution, and publication of these materials.
